This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play
without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove,
you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not,
then you may return it for a full refund.
With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of
surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be
clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we
handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted
otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so
look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.
Tripped out tracks with a funky cinematic feel – a great new project with mysterious origins – supposedly the work of the "mysterious Clutchy Hopkins", but really just the efforts of a batch of underground beatmakers! There's a spare, spacious approach here that almost ... CD
The title may seem a bit strange, but the grooves on this set are so heavy, you might find yourself heading for the chiropractor after your first listen to the record! Tacosan takes strong inspiration from the James Brown band of the late 60s – with all the bumps, grinds, and funky jumps you ... CD

The fantastic first album from The Hi Fly Orchestra – a group we first dug on funky 45s, but who sound even better on this full length set! Unlike some of their contemporaries, who go for more of a deep funk groove, Hi Fly have a sound that's also equally jazzy – filled with hip riffs ... CD
Super-heavy funk from late great Desco Records scene! The Mighty Imperials were one of the best funky 45 groups to record for mighty deep funk Desco label – and their first album never properly saw the light of day, thanks to some pressing and distribution messups before the demise of the ... CD
A whole new sound for Quantic, and a great one too – a mixture of his older funk with newer influences from Latin music – all in a blend that's totally fresh, and very unique! This "Latin chapter" of the Quantic sound has been showing up a bit on remixes and singles over the ... CD
A killer album of soul jazz from Robert Walter – most famously known as the keyboardist with the Greyboy All Stars, but a killer player in his own right, and the leader of the soon-to-be famous 20th Congress! The group features some killer drumming by Stanton Moore of Galactic – and ... CD
Damn great work from the Greyboy Allstars – a record that's deeper, hipper, and more rewarding than we ever remember from the group – a rich blend of jazz and funk, without any tricks or gimmicks at all! The playing of the members has really deepened a lot since the last album – ... CD
Too Short's third disc on Jive, the last one before he started becoming a parody of himself. A few tracks have the same humor as his first two Jive LPs, and it includes the hit "The Ghetto" using the classic Donny Hathaway melody, and "Ain't Nuthin But A Word To Me" with Ice ... CD
