Bob James is picking up some extra keyboards here – mixing his usual Fender Rhodes with a bit of Oberheim Polyphonic – but the overall sound of the record is still pretty great, and filled with those warm, spacious tones that make Bob's albums so great! Things are slightly smooth, but never cloying – and there's a number of tracks here that show a strong "Taxi" influence in the way Bob puts together t he rhythms and brings the keyboards up in the mix – a style that's slightly gentler than the CTI years, but which also shows a deepening spirit in his work. - May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
- This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.
