Very groovy pop from the one-named Jefferson – a set that boasts some especially swinging production from the legendary John Schroeder! The style here is very much at the peak of Brit pop for the time – sung with a bit of warble on Jefferson's vocals, and supported by some bouncy arrangements from Lew Warburton that are really great – soaring and compressed, but not in the smoother style of later 70s UK pop – and still with the best sort of edge we love from more familiar English work of this sort. Titles are very well chosen – and include Alan Hawkshaw's "Love & The World Loves With You" – plus "Montage From How Sweet It Is", "Give A Little Love", "I Fell Flat On My Face", "Baby Take Me In Your Arms", and "City Girl". © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
