This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Condition Notes
If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially
if it is release or pressing details,
or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Prime live material from the Ramones – recorded on the final night of 1977, right when the group was at the height of their power! If you ever got a chance to see The Ramones back in the day, the sound was really amazing – every bit as short, sharp, and focused as the studio records ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great 80s album from The Ramones – one that has the group slowing things down a bit, but in ways that allow them to revel in the more sinister sounds they were developing at the time! The group are definitely aging, but also finding that new sound that kept them going on Sire Records well ... LP, Vinyl record album
A compelling chapter in the career of The Ramones – a set that has the group working with the mighty Graham Gouldman of 10CC as producer – in an effort to maybe help the group's trademark sound cross over big, but which ended up having an even stronger approach overall! Lots of the ... LP, Vinyl record album
As great of a rock & roll album as there's ever been! It's impossible to describe this record without sounding like a blow hard, but you really can't overstate what these four goony guys from Queens accomplished. 30-odd years of the most visceral pop music concentrated into 2 minute, 3 chord ... The Ramones really caught their classic recorded sound for the first time on Leave Home – the second of their three perfect late 70s milestones. As amazing as the debut is, its two-channel shrieking buzzsaw sound bowed nicely to the slightly more digestible, but just as cathartic roar of the ... LP, Vinyl record album
Features the mega hit "I Melt With You" – plus loads of other great tracks including "Life In The Gladhouse", "Face Of Wood", "Someone's Calling", and "After The Snow". LP, Vinyl record album
Early genius from the Talking Heads – a set that's got a much sparer sound than most of their later work, and a surprisingly groovy feel overall! The starkness of the group's debut is still very much in place – lots of tight interplay between bass and guitar – but the rhythms are ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great summation of the first few years of work from Echo & The Bunnymen – songs to definitely learn, but don't try singing unless you've got the same amazing vocal skills as Ian McCullough! All the classic singles are here – and titles include "The Killing Moon", "T ... LP, Vinyl record album
A stone classic from the team of Morrissey and Marr – a record that manages to wear its politics on its sleeve, yet still express things in a highly personal way! The balance is a key part of what made The Smiths go farther than just about all their 80s Brit indie contemporaries – and ... LP, Vinyl record album
An album that will really blow your mind if you only know Christine McVie from her famous work in Fleetwood Mac – as the set's a debut solo effort, at a time when McVie was recording under the name of Christine Perfect as a singer in the UK blues band Chicken Shack! As with early Fleetwood ... LP, Vinyl record album
