12-inch (Item 452172) Atlantic, 1985 — Condition: Very Good+

12-inch, Vinyl record

(€2.82 || £2.37 || ¥334) (approx.)

(In an Atlantic sleeve.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

"Fire Up" is a great bit of party funk from ADC – a tune that's got a romping bassline that really sets the pace of the track – then follows up with a snapping rhythm that's got plenty of rollerskating touches, and which sounds great next to the stoner "fire it up" ... 12-inch, Vinyl record

What can we say? Despite the stupid appearance of the band, "White Horse" was a classic breakdance/electro track that crossed over so big it had kids in Kansas running out to by parachute pants and squares of linoleum to play along with the kids in the Bronx. Fantasy, 1978. Very Good+
Hardly a disco tune from Side Effect – and instead a nicely jazzy bit of club, served up in the best Wayne Henderson-directed mode of the group's Fantasy years! A huge hit, but a great little number too – one with a sense of darkness that's far stronger than we remember – almost sending a bit of chill down our spine when the trio shout's out the title of the tune! 12-inch, Vinyl record
