Excellent stuff – even better than the first volume! By this point in their career, The Dells were pushing past their earlier sound, into a baroque harmony approach that was beyond compare – and which still stands today as some of the finest soul to ever come out of Chicago. The tracks on the album feature arrangements by Charles Stepney, Don Davis, and Bert Keys – and tracks include lesser-known gems like "Give Your Baby A Standing Ovation", "Bring Back The Love Of Yesterday", "Run For Cover", "If It Ain't One Thing, It's Another", "Learning to Love You Was Easy", and "I Can Sing A Rainbow/Love Is Blue". © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.
