This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
The soundtrack to the 60s version of Stagecoach – the one with the outrageously beautiful Ann Margaret, Bing Crosby, Red Buttons, Slim Pickens and Alex Cord – with a lavish, though appropriately dust-strewn Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack! This '66 remake may not rival John Ford's landmark ... LP, Vinyl record album
A richly dramatic score by Jerry Goldsmith – originally penned for an early TV mini-series in the 70s, but re-recorded here in a bold new version! The music has a bit more grandeur at times than some of Goldsmith's other soundtracks – still a hint of the action themes that we love in ... LP, Vinyl record album
A really striking score from Jerry Goldsmith – penned with just the right sense of drama and tension for this mid 60s military thriller! Goldsmith's already working here with a full palette of colors – and Lionel Newman conducts the music with an added richness that seems to bring out ... LP, Vinyl record album
Excellent soundtrack work by Jerry Goldsmith – possibly his greatest ever! Jerry's usually a bit staid with some of his scores – but working here on the soundtrack to this James Coburn spy spoof film, he's truly fantastic! The approach mixes strings and bossa-inflected grooves with ... LP, Vinyl record album
A bold score for a famous 70s astronaut film – penned by Jerry Goldsmith with almost the same sort of drama he might bring to a war thriller! The story itself is pretty dark – as the astronauts don't make it to space, but are forced into a Air Force base – and Goldsmith's music ... LP, Vinyl record album
A dreamy Jerry Goldsmith score for this late George Cukor film that starred Amouk Aimee, Dirk Bogarde, and Robert Forster. The film's got an exotic setting, and the best tunes really make use of this by adding in some action-based Egyptian-sounding numbers. Overall, the soundtrack's mostly mellow ... A pretty straight score to this period film based on the Thomas Hardy book of the same name – and starring Julie Christie, Terence Stamp, and Alan Bates. The score is packaged in a nice gatefold cover with a painting of Christie on the front and images of the film on the inside – and ... LP, Vinyl record album
