A really nice little album from J Blackfoot – one that's recorded with a few 80s touches, but in a way that mostly preserves the sweetly crackling style that makes his vocals so wonderful! There's plenty of mellower tunes here that echo with the rich contribution that Blackfoot brought to the Soul Children – that style of earnest, honest, yet never overdone southern soul singing that only he and a small handful (maybe Sam Dees or Jimmy Lewis) could do that well. Tunes include some good obscure numbers and a few classics, with titles that include "Hiding Place", "Girl Next Door", "Don't Stop", "I Don't Remember Loving You", "Don't You Feel It Like I Feel It", and "You Got Me Hummin". © 1996-2021, Dusty Groove, Inc.

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
