This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

A great little concept album – and one that really shows the continuing sophistication and growth of Jerry Butler's music in the 70s! This is the second of two live albums that Marvin Gaye cut during the 70s – and in many ways, it's the better one! An amazing record that stunned the world almost as much as Marvin's previous effort, What's Going On. Like that one, this album's an amazingly unified batch of tracks – with a visionary message about sex and love that is as honest and bracing as the politics and social commentary of his ... Wonderful stuff – and one of our favorite-ever Marvin Gaye albums! This is the legendary two-record set that Marvin wrote and recorded as an alimony payment to his ex-wife Anna Gordy (the story's pretty long, and we won't get into it here – suffice it to say that when stars get a ... Early work from Stevie Wonder – recorded when he was only 11 years old, but already a whiz on a number of instruments! The grooves here definitely live up to the "jazz soul" promised in the title – as most numbers are instrumental, with a soul jazz groove that's really ... LP, Vinyl record album
A massive 3LP set that brings together most of the best work recorded by Diana Ross & The Supremes for Motown – done in the lavish style that Motown used in these deep Anthology series in the 70s! Each side of each record has a different theme, and the package also features dates for ... LP, Vinyl record album
One of the best-ever albums by the Supremes – and filled with stone classics, to boot! An album that definitely lives up to the title promised by The Commodores – a record that takes all their raw funky energy of the early years, and fuses it into a new groove that would catapult the sextet to superstardom! The sound is commercial, but still has a pretty fresh sort of feel too ... LP, Vinyl record album
Latimore's first album – and a classic bit of Miami soul! The record's something of a groundbreaker – as it mixes older southern soul with some bluesy inflections – using small combo instrumentation and a warm sweet sound on production to create a new groove that pushed soul ...
