LP, Vinyl record album

✈
❔
A very strong compilation of some of the best soul that Mary Wells recorded for Motown – and probably her only real album for the label. Although issued in 1966, the material hearkens from earlier days at Motown – and titles include "The One Who Really Loves You", "Two Lovers", "Honey Boy", "My Guy", and "You Beat Me To The Punch". Great for late night listening on a summer night through an open window!  © 1996-2025, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Stereo pressing with deep groove. Cover has wavy lower corner with staining, patchy peel spotting, wear & aging, splits at the opening.)

Very Good - (minus)

  • Vinyl may be dirty, and can lack a fair amount of luster.
  • Vinyl can have a number of marks, either in clusters or smaller amounts, but deeper.
  • This is the kind of record that you'd buy to play, but not because it looked that great. Still, the flaws should be mostly cosmetic, with nothing too deep that would ruin the overall record.
  • Examples include a record that has been kept for a while in a cover without the paper sleeve, or heavily played by a previous owner and has some marks across the surface. The record should play okay, though probably with surface noise.

Condition Notes

If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially if it is release or pressing details, or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
