This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A key later album from alto saxophonist Benny Carter – one that has him at the helm of a largeish group, but playing with a nicely focused sort of groove! So much guitar – but never too much, given that Wes was the real master of sound and space, even at this early point in his career! Auld was asked to join the Goodman band back in 1940 where he worked closely with Christian. Auld plays tenor sax and is joined by Don ... LP, Vinyl record album
A cool Japanese-only album – the tenor of Sam The Man Taylor amidst larger backings from Jinzo Kosugi, on tunes that include "Hakodate No Hito", "Koi", "Yanasage Blues", "Casbah No Onna", "Hokkaido Skies", and "Love You Tokyo". LP, Vinyl record album
Not just disco nights, but some great mellow moments too – a wonderfully well-rounded classic from this great quartet – as tight and groovy as it is cool and classy! By the time of this debut, the group had already had plenty of 70s soul experience as The Rhythm Makers – a ... LP, Vinyl record album
Kind of a confrontational title, but still an excellent batch of grooves from The Maestro, with heavenly production, and lots of long drawn-out sexy grooves. Cuts include "Don't Make Me Wait Too Long", "I'm Qualified To Satisfy You", "Your Love – So Good I Can't Take ... LP, Vinyl record album
