Love Sensation/Dance What 'Cha Wanna

12-inch (Item 358359) Salsoul/Gold Mind, 1980 — Condition: Very Good-
Out Of Stock

12-inch, Vinyl record

✈
A killer dancefloor stormer that never gets old, not even after it was sampled without clearance by Black Box. The cut's a great one, and is the record that will forever be Loleatta Holloway's most remembered – and for good reason!  © 1996-2023, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(US pressing.)

Very Good - (minus)

  • Vinyl may be dirty, and can lack a fair amount of luster.
  • Vinyl can have a number of marks, either in clusters or smaller amounts, but deeper.
  • This is the kind of record that you'd buy to play, but not because it looked that great. Still, the flaws should be mostly cosmetic, with nothing too deep that would ruin the overall record.
  • Examples include a record that has been kept for a while in a cover without the paper sleeve, or heavily played by a previous owner and has some marks across the surface. The record should play okay, though probably with surface noise.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

If "Hit & Run" was always like this, it wouldn't be a crime! The track's a bouncing joyous number, and one of Loleatta's first bit club tunes – really grooving with a gently funky approach that has lots of great Salsoul Orchestra touches underneath! Great arrangements and ... 12-inch, Vinyl record

"Cheaters" is a fantastic club track – with great east coast Baker-Harris-Young production, great harmonies, and a groove that's half harmony soul and half disco! This 12" single features extended disco mixes of both tracks, too! 12-inch, Vinyl record

We used to love this single back in the day! Soulful vocals over an electro/seminal house groove, served up here in a radio edits and dub versions. 12-inch, Vinyl record

A hit number that features rising star Michael so prominently in the lead, you may have thought it was one of his solo tracks of his instead of Jacksons cut! The track is self produced, but with some help from Greg Philinganes, and definitely has some of the vibe that helped their earlier Gamble ... 12-inch, Vinyl record

A rather different 12" from this Chicago group, but still great! Popping electro sounding grooves that are really reminiscent of "White Horse", but with a very roller disco friendly feel! 12-inch, Vinyl record
