This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Nice stuff from that period when Nancy was forging her unique mix of soul, jazz, and pop vocals into a sophisticated blend that transcended all styles. One of the greatest albums ever cut by Jackie and Roy! Tightly funky work from Ben Sidran – arguably one of his best albums for Arista, thanks to a strong lineup of players, and the open-ended relaxed setting of Montreux! The tracks here are a bit longer than some of Ben's studio sides for the label at the time – and almost hearken back to ... LP, Vinyl record album
A lesser-remembered Capitol set from Dakota Staton, but a great one too – a record that has Dakota singing ballads and blues, both of which she does pretty darn well! On some tracks, Sid Feller handles the backings, often with a gentle mix of strings – while other numbers have a bit ... LP, Vinyl record album
Nice 2 LP collection of some of Kenny Dorham's beautiful lyrical trumpet work for the Riverside label from the late 50s. The set features material from the albums Jazz Contrasts, Two Horns/Two Rhythms, Blue Spring, and This Is The Moment – plus one track from Abbey Lincoln's album That's Him. ... LP, Vinyl record album
A fitting title for a great album – Eric Dolphy's last live recording, performed on June 2, 1964, with a trio of youngsters that included two of the greatest names in European avant garde jazz – Misha Mengelberg and Han Bennink!
