❔
A massive 3LP set that brings together most of the best work recorded by Diana Ross & The Supremes for Motown – done in the lavish style that Motown used in these deep Anthology series in the 70s! Each side of each record has a different theme, and the package also features dates for most of the material – making it a handy way to trace the evolution of the group's style. Titles include "You Send Me", "Love Child", "Reflections", "The Happening", "You Keep Me Hanging On", "My World Is Empty Without You", "Where Did Our Love Go", "Baby Love", "Ask Any Girl", "I Hear A Symphony", "Love Is Here & Now You're Gone", "I'm Livin In Shame", "No Matter What Sign You Are", and "Someday We'll Be Together".  © 1996-2023, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Includes the booklet! Cover has ring & edge wear, small split on spine.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Motown, 1983. Near Mint-
One of the strangest acts to come from Motown in the early 80s – and almost more of a new wave record than a soul one! The standout hit here is the title track "Somebody's Watching Me" – an odd electro tune that has Rockwell speaking/singing these paranoid lyrics with a vague ... LP, Vinyl record album

A well-timed Greatest Hits set for The Commodores – because it came out in 1978, and captures the group at their best early prime! Curtis
Curtom, 1970. Very Good+ Gatefold
A mindblowing solo set from Curtis Mayfield – a record that not only foregrounds all the subtle politics he'd been forging in the Impressions during the 60s – but one that also really has Mayfield exploding as a force to be reckoned with in the studio!
