Red's usual trio bag is given a bit of a soul jazz twist (or perhaps we should say "a bit more of a soul jazz twist" since Red's always pretty darn soulful!) – in this set of tracks that has a slight gospel piano sound to it, and which also features Red playing organ on one track! Red's not the greatest talent on the instrument, but we always like the chance to hear a pianist hitting the Hammond – and with backing by Sam Jones and Art Taylor, he does the job pretty nicely.
