Love Dancin/No One Yet

12-inch (Item 32860) Columbia, 1979 — Condition: Very Good+

12-inch, Vinyl record

"Love Dancin" is an excellent jazzy groover from Marlena! The cut's got a very different sound than some of her early work, but it's a beautifully smooth modern soul number that has her singing to some nice arrangements by Harold Wheeler. The flipside's a nice soul number, too – and features arrangements by Bobby Bryant.  © 1996-2020, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(White label promo. Labels have some pen.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

A great little club track from Vaughan Mason – cut years after his rollerskating hit, but with a similar sense of space and time! West End, 1982. Very Good
A great later bit of West End – a wicked piece of dancefloor funk that snaps bass and beat together with a strong 80s groove!
