these will be noted in the comments section of the item. However, please be aware that
since the emphasis of this site is towards the music listener, our main concern is with

Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
We never tire of this one – and we think it's a landmark soul LP that forever changed the face of soul music! Teddy Pendergrass is in perfect form, and he really gets into it on the album's 2 incredible long tracks – "I Miss You", and "Be For Real" – both with ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great one from Edwin Birdsong – a proudly self-produced set, and right up there with his best albums! It was recorded for Philly after he left the company of Roy Ayers, but with a few nice Roy Ayers-like touches in moments. Our favorite tracks are "Autumn Eyes" and "Lollipop ... Nice obscure Jones Girls album that gives the ladies a good electro 80's groove. Kenny Burke wrote and produced the title cut, "Keep It Comin", which is a nice slammin' dancefloor track, with a feel that's similar to Kenny's own work from the time. He also handled a few other tracks on ... LP, Vinyl record album
A funky instrumental classic – with a groove that was copied by a huge amount of other groups! Cliff and crew take the funky 45 sound into the mainstream – vamping and comping in tight choppy grooves that were perfect for dances like The Horse, The Jerk, and some of the other harder ... A key moment in the career of Esther Phillips – and a record that really has her shaking off the rougher bluesy styles of the earlier years, and pointing the way towards strong jazz success in the 70s! The album's definitely burnin, but with a sophisticated vibe too – as Esther works ... LP, Vinyl record album
Nice split LP that combines a side apeice from the classic Sensuous Black Man and Woman LPs! Both sides feature nice nice funky music – and very very explicit descriptions of "the proper way to make love to a lady". The music is slammin', and Rudy Ray Moore's at his worst as he ... One of Doug Clark's bawdy frat rock-soul party LPs on the Gross label – with his trademark "blue" material for adult listeners, backed up by raunchy R&B riffing! The general style's a bit dated, but it's also the kind of album that paved the way for Rudy Ray Moore in the 70s. ... LP, Vinyl record album
