Soul Of Minit Records 1966 to 1969 – Struttin & Flirtin

LP (Item 31417) Minit/EMI, Late 60s — Condition: Very Good+

Released in the mid 80s, but an excellent compilation of rare soul from the legendary Minit label – featuring some stellar soul cuts that are pretty darn hard to find in any format! Titles include "Get Right" by The Players, "60 Minutes Of Your Love" by Homer Banks, "My Heart Is In Danger" by Alder Ray, "I've Got Love For My Baby" by The Young Hearts, "I Know" by Gloria Jones, and "Hunk Of Funk" by Gene Dozier.  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Cover has a spot of sticker residue.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Soul Cowboy
Minit, 1970. Very Good+
Quite an interesting record! An early record by Experience Unlimited – better known to most of the world as EU, the DC funk outfit that went onto become pretty big in the GoGo scene, and who scored big with the 80s party cut "Da Butt".
