Genius Rap (voc)/Genius Of Love (inst)

12-inch (Item 31256) Profile, 1981 — Condition: Very Good+
Out Of Stock

12-inch, Vinyl record

✈
One of the old school tracks based around Tom Tom Club's "Genius Of Love".  © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

MC Tee & Lord Tasheem

Talkin' Loud (voc, inst)
Profile, 1987. Near Mint-
Another nice mid-80's Profile MC that somehow never put out a full length LP. It really is a shame. Probably our favorite use of the James Brown "Talkin Loud" sample. 12-inch, Vinyl record

Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock

It Takes Two (voc, inst)
Profile, 1987. Near Mint-
One of the first hip hop singles that really made the crossover to dancefloor play. By this point, everyone's heard the sample three million times, but it's still holds up better than most of the uptempo cuts from that era. 12-inch, Vinyl record
Profile, 1986. Near Mint-
(Promo in a Profile sleeve.) 12-inch, Vinyl record

Word Of Mouth (featuring DJ Cheese)
