An amazingly seductive album from Stan Getz! The record features Getz's tenor blowing breezily away, amidst sophisticated arrangements with touches of dark easy scoring, post-bossa Brazilian writing, and early CTI production. Claus Ogerman arranged the whole set, and the overall feel is very similar to From The Hot Afternoon, which has Paul Desmond blowing in a similar style to arrangements by Don Sebesky. The core group features some hip players – like Herbie Hancock, Jim Hall, and Ron Carter – and the larger backing has the "voices" you'd guess from the title. Tracks include "Once", "Darling Joe", "Midnight Samba", "Little Rio", "Infinidad", and "Where Flamingo's Fly". © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
