Haboglabotribin (long)/Bread Sandwiches

12-inch (Item 26925) GRP/Arista, 1981 — Condition: Very Good+
Out Of Stock

12-inch, Vinyl record

Funky funky funky! "Haboglabotribin" is arguably the best track ever by Bernard Wright – and it's got a bass-heavy, jazz-tinged, sample groove that you'll recognize instantly! The cut is served up here in a longer mix than on the album, with some extra vocals by Don Blackman (who also wrote the cut)! Plus, the flipside's a great bit of jazz funk, too – and the single's a real treat for early 80s funk fans!  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Promo in a stickered sleeve – with some aging.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

What can we say? One of Bootsy's best tracks from the old days – served up here on a promo 12" single that was issued at the time of the Warner Archives CD release for The Best Of Bootsy. The remix is better than you'd expect, too – and really keeps the original flavor of the song! 12-inch, Vinyl record
