(€5.08 || £4.54 || ¥669) (approx.)

An 80s groove classic! This track has a killer sound that mixes bass-heavy funk with a tight electric keyboard sound – and it rips along nicely with a very catchy hook. The cut's one of our all-time favorites from this time, and it's got a hard funky groove that keeps on going! (White label promo.)  © 1996-2017, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Old school track from Sugar Hill's female trio that does not feature the classic Sugar Hill rhythm section, but instead uses a more synthetic sound, along the lines of maybe the Dazz Band. 12-inch, Vinyl record

A great single from Aural Exciters – a hip New York ensemble from the late 70s, one of the seminal groups of the downtown post-disco crossover scene! Hit work from the legendary Peter Brown – a key player in far more club sides than we can remember, but a real chart-topper with this one! Well, you know you want it for the b-side, and you hardly need us to tell you anything about it. "Celebration" was probably the group's most enduring mainstream track, for better or for worse. 12-inch, Vinyl record

Motown, 1977. Very Good+ (pic cover)
Needs no introduction – and a funky track so classic, it's still hard to believe that Lionel Ritchie was involved in the thing! A perfect choice for a Motown disco single – and one to slap on the turntables at your next mainstreamers gig! 12-inch, Vinyl record
Bad Boy, 1995. Near Mint-
Both the Puff Daddy & Ali Shaheed Muhamed mixes of this Faith Evans track hit hard, Puff Daddy's in the mid '90's hot radio style that blew him up so large and Muhamed's with that smooth Tribe vibe. 12-inch, Vinyl record
Sire, 1983. Very Good (pic cover)
What can we say? Despite the stupid appearance of the band, "White Horse" was a classic breakdance/electro track that crossed over so big it had kids in Kansas running out to by parachute pants and squares of linoleum to play along with the kids in the Bronx.
