May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean,
and not too dirty.
May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play,
but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep.
Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well,
with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song,
but never throughout a whole song or more.
This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times,
but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Killer funk from one of the best-ever bands of the genre! "Cissy Strut" has some killer stone cold choppy guitars, with a sound that was imitated often, but never matched! "Here Comes" is a rolling organ-driven groove – bubbling along at a chunky funky pace! 7-inch, Vinyl record
One of our all-time favorite solo tracks by Michael Jackson – that incredibly catchy tune from the Thriller album – the one with that groovy vocal "Mama Say Mama Sa Mama Sa Ku Sa" chorus! It always sounds a bit silly, but that's part of the appeal – and the tune has a ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
Two of Horace's best late 60s groovers – both done with a hard-rolling soul jazz approach! "Psychedelic Sally" is particularly nice – with a strutting little hook that made the track one of the bigger Blue Notes of the time! 7-inch, Vinyl record
Funky funky Rufus! This one's a monster – with great drums, rolling bass, and riffing guitar that scratches up the whole dark track to keep it nice and funky! Rufus' vocals hardly get in the way, and the cut's one of his funkiest ever! 7-inch, Vinyl record
This is Hank's first version of the track, not the one produced by James Brown. That doesn't stop it from being nice and soulful, though – with a great rolling R&B groove that made it one of his best early moments! Killer vocals on both sides, too! 7-inch, Vinyl record
