Great US issue of 2 different albums that Webster recorded in Europe near the end of his life – Blow Ben Blow and For The Guv'nor. The albums were both recorded in 1969, and both with that kind of open-ended European "focus on the master soloist" approach that was gaining favor at the time. Webster's in far better form than on many of his other recordings of the 60s, and he's backed here by Kenny Drew on one session, and Cees Slinger on another.
