Very early work from this legendary Finnish jazz rock combo of the 70s – a set recorded before their classic albums to come, issued here for the very first time – and a tremendous demonstration of their powers right from the start! Tracks are nice and long, and bristle with this unbridled energy that has the group effortlessly mixing up proggish rhythms and more jazz-inspired solo work – with a lineup that includes the great Jukka Tolonen on guitar and a bit of piano, Pekky Poyry on flute and alto, and a bit of organ – plus Vesa Aaltonen on drums and Mans Groundstroem on bass.
