A beautiful blend of progressive jazz and folk styles – one of the mellower albums from 70s Finnish guitarist Jukka Tolonen, but a great little set nonetheless! The album's got a warmly organic quality that puts it firmly in the context of some of the Brazilian/fusion experiments from the US scene of the early 70s – not as all-out jamming as some of those, but with a similar use of earthy percussion and acoustic instrumentation – and a real love of long, spun-out tracks are filled with color and a real sense of joy. Jukka plays acoustic and electric guitar, tabla, mini moog, and piano – and other instrumentation includes trombone, flute, and soprano sax – the latter two of which glide really nicely over the tunes! All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
