A definite freakout party from The Unfolding – a cool group that was possibly just a studio combo put together by Audio Fidelity for this rare 60s set – although we can more than forgive that fact, given the wild sound of the music! The record's got an approach that may well be the definition of psych if you were to look for a musical reference – lots of fuzzy guitar, some nice tripped-out moments, and a sinister bassline that oozes sex and spookiness – definitely a lot more dangerous than most of the music you'd find on the radio at the time!
