This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
The debut album from the band that brought you that classic hit "In The Summertime". The rest of the record follows in the same vein – bluesy but with lots of kazoo, harmonica, jug playing and western saloon piano playing which makes it all pretty entertaining. Almost all of the ... A record with "surf" in the title, but one that's light years from the earlier Beach Boys albums of the 60s! This set is a wonderfully mature effort – hardly surf music at all, and one that moves nicely in the same territory as Sunflower and 20/20! Some of the tunes are ... LP, Vinyl record album
Much more of a hard rock affair than the group's third LP – kind of a return to the heavy guitars of Da Capo after the baroque beauty of Forever Changes – but a stone winner nonetheless! Arthur Lee's genius is still firmly in place, and although there's a back to basics rock feel on ... LP, Vinyl record album
Almost a "greatest hit" of "greatest hits" collection – given the importance of this album to the David Bowie catalog! Sure, it compiles tracks from other releases – but it also was the album that gave the world the killer cut "John I'm Only Dancing" ... LP, Vinyl record album
The third album from the mighty Chase – proof that the group was still going strong several years after their groundbreaking debut! The grooves here are almost tighter than before – a bit more complicated instrumentally, with some of the trumpets backed off a bit, to leave more room ... LP, Vinyl record album
Arguably one of the greatest rock and roll albums of all time – and the key flowering of the partnership between David Bowie and Mick Ronson! The guitars here are heavy – so much so that the record's always crossed over big with crowds who are always suspicious of Bowie's artier work ... LP, Vinyl record album
A classic from Warren Zevon! Bad Luck Streak In Dancing School is a triumph of the pure craft of catchy rock 'n' roll songwriting – but the lacerating wit flips that aspect right over! On one hand, Warren plays by the mainstream LA rock rulebook here – bright, glossy production and ... LP, Vinyl record album
A record that we love almost as much for the words by Pete Sinfield, vocals by Gordon Haskell, and reeds by Mel Collins – as we do for the work of leader Robert Fripp on guitar! LP, Vinyl record album
Little Feat's third, and maybe best album – the adventurous country rock, soul, boogie blender Feats Don't Fail Me Now! Oh, this group wasn't going to fail anytime soon – not creatively, anyway. They really come into their own here – mixing up distinct styles into a groove all ... LP, Vinyl record album
Titles include "This Boy", "Don't Bother Me", "Little Child", "Not A Second Time", "I Wanna Be Your Man", and "I Want To Hold Your Hand". LP, Vinyl record album
Great stuff – and one of the funkiest albums that Ike Turner ever recorded – done during a late 60s moment when his fame with Tina Turner was really on the rise – but much more like some funky 45 take on the pre-Tina work he'd been doing in the 50s! This set's a batch of obscure ... LP, Vinyl record album
