I Spy (Warner)

LP (Item 196943) Warner, 1965 — Condition: Very Good+
(Stereo pressing.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Blade Runner
Full Moon/Warner, 1982. Near Mint- Gatefold
One of the best-remembered moments of music from the enigmatic Vangelis – a set that's maybe a bit darker and more moody than some of his other records of the time – thanks to the Blade Runner setting provided by director Ridley Scott! Hotel
Warner, 1996. Near Mint-
Jazzy Johnny Keating, we sure love your 60s work – and although most of it was penned in the UK, this album marks one of your fab efforts for the US market! Tower, Late 60s. Sealed
A very groovy heist soundtrack! Vic Mizzy did a rare few albums under his own name – and this soundtrack is a great little gem that mixes jazzy bits with more bossa and Latin inflected numbers. There's a lot of electric guitar on the set, sometimes played with a Spanish flair – and ... LP, Vinyl record album

Voices Inc/Brooks Alexander

Believers – The Black Experience In Song
RCA, 1968. Very Good
An original cast recording, but one of the hippest we've ever heard – an effort to document the richness of the African-American experience through song – starting with African roots, moving through gospel, and ending up with some very hip, mod work from the 60s – almost in an ... Electric Flag/Paul Beaver

Trip – Original Soundtrack
Sidewalk, 1967. Very Good
One of the trippiest soundtracks of the 60s – a wonderful blend of psych tracks from The Electric Flag, and moogier electronic moments from the great Paul Beaver!
