This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
Bill Summers is a long way from The Headhunters on this record – but he's still sounding great! Unlike the acoustic rhythms of Summers' 70s albums, this set has Bill crafting some electro-tinged groovers designed to appeal to the street crowd indicated by the image of a boom box on the front ... CD

Stunning work from Rufus & Chaka Khan – still very much at the height of their powers on this late 70s release – and still doing things at a level that nobody else can touch! The blend of jazz and soul is completely sublime – given a bit of extra help on arrangements by Clare ... CD
A stone club classic from the early 80s – one of the best mainstream groovers of the post-disco years! Cheatham's a percussionist by trade, but really comes off with something extra here – a smoothly soulful groove that's sublime from start to finish – no filler, no cliches, just ... CD
Soul For Real were relatively young when they served up this debut on Uptown Records – but they've got a vocal warmth that comes across with a well-crafted sort of maturity, given some nice hip hop currents in the rhythms from co-producer Heavy D! The record's one of those perfect 90s blend ... CD
The Mac Band get their name from Charles and Derrick McCampbell – who duet on lead vocals on the set – but they also draw plenty of their sound from the team of LA and Babyface, who handle the leadoff tracks on the set – while also getting plenty of production help from David and ... CD
One of the funkier albums that Maceo Parker's cut in recent years – a set that's still done with his frequent partners the WDR Big Band, but handled with a much stronger emphasis on the soul roots promised in the title! The set hearkens back to Maceo's years with James Brown, and also ... CD
