A wonderfully poetic performance from Rob Mazurek – dedicated to the memory of his father, presented with a poem penned by Rob in the notes, and delivered by a quartet who really help Mazurek move into the most spiritual side of his musical spectrum! The group features tremendous work on drums from Chad Taylor – no stranger to Mazurek in performance, but maybe working with an even more essential quality here – alongside the always-great bass work of Ingebrigt Haker Flaten, and some especially nice piano from Kris Davis – who has a way of punctuating the performance to really balance out the sound. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
