This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
We use the all-encompassing grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can
request a return
for a full refund.
Condition Notes
If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially
if it is release or packaging details,
or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the CD.
This might include, but isn't limited to, scratches, tracks that skip,
case/insert damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Major grooves from Poncho Sanchez – just the kind of cooking set that makes just about every one of his dates for Concord well worth searching out! The sound here is nice and traditional – at least in the Latin jazz mode – heavy percussion from Poncho, topped by an array of great ... CD
New work from everyone's favorite under-discovered Cuban singer – recorded very much in the style of his work with Ry Cooder's Buena Vista Social Club, with a similar dedication to a classic sound. Titles include "La Negra Tomasa", "Oui Parle Francais", "Te Apartas ... CD
A treasure trove of lost Latin from the 50s – early 78s from Tito Puente, and really amazing stuff all the way through! Even at this early point, Tito was clearly ahead of the pack – hitting hard with rhythms that are fresh and modern, and really pushing Latin music into some jazzy new ... CD

Some of the earliest work ever recorded by Tito Puente – a great collection classic mambos recorded for Tico in the late 40s and early 50s – all of them plenty darn great! The sound here is often harder, rawer, and more focused than Tito's groove for RCA a few years later – and ... CD

Tito Puente doesn't have far to "go jazz" – but he gets a nice push in the right direction by some added players from the RCA jazz scene of the time! The album's a stunner by any standards – a cooking Latin date, thanks to percussion from Tito and Mongo Santamaria – and ... CD
