This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A nice album of soul tracks that was Madeline's follow up to the big hit of the title. Recorded in the UK, with a pretty good backing, and a good mix of originals and obscure pop stuff. Tracks include Bacharach & David's "Last One to Be Loved", plus Ashford & Simpson's "Baby ... LP, Vinyl record album
Kind of a retro-disco project – featuring new versions of older pop tunes like "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White", "Tenderly", "Old Devil Moon", and "Mister Sandman". Bernard Purdie is on drums, and both the TSOP and TSONY groups participate – ... LP, Vinyl record album
Wonderful stuff – and one of our favorite-ever Marvin Gaye albums! This is the legendary two-record set that Marvin wrote and recorded as an alimony payment to his ex-wife Anna Gordy (the story's pretty long, and we won't get into it here – suffice it to say that when stars get a ... In our humble opinion, just about every track that Marvin recorded for Motown is "great" – but since this set's focused on the hits, we're happy to accept their track selection, and admit they do a pretty good job of covering most of the big bases – early solo gems, duet ... LP, Vinyl record album
A classic! What seemed a silly idea at the time was true proof of Ray's genius, and the result was the most successful album of his career – and a bona-fide number one hit that rode the charts for years and years! Ray's voice works perfectly with the material, and thanks to soulful ... LP, Vinyl record album
A nice little live set from BB – rawer than some of his studio work at the time, and with a bit freer playing. Titles include "Please Love Me", "Sweet Little Angel", "Let Me Love You", "Rock Me Baby", "3 O'Clock Blues", and "Woke Up This ... LP, Vinyl record album
Great work from this legendary vocal quartet – tracks that include "A Heart Like Thine", "At Calvary", "Love Let Him To Calvary", "The Old Account", "Where Could I Go", "The Last Mile", and "It's Gonna Rain Again". LP, Vinyl record album
Fantastic stuff, like all of Bobby's early Duke albums, and a breathtaking mix of soul and R&B, with some nice jazzy touches in the arrangements. Tracks include "Wouldn't You Rather Have Me", "Ask Me Nothin' About The Blues", "Gotta Get To Know You", and "You ... LP, Vinyl record album
