A mighty nice Henry Mancini soundtrack – penned for the final Pink Panther film to star Peter Sellers in the lead – and served up by maestro Mancini at the top-shelf level that's always made his music such a crucial part of the series of movies! The set has a number of renditions of the main theme, mixed in with other modes – but also uses these other moments with really well-crafted, all acoustic orchestrations that are filled with imagination and whimsy – such a nice change for a period when so many others were relying on mostly electric instrumentation to get the music across.
