Praise & Prayer

LP (Item 171509) Generation, 1972 — Condition: Very Good+
(Original yellow label pressing! Cover has some ring and edge wear, small splits in the bottom seam, small stickers obscuring some marker at the top right, bumped corners, and a bit of pen and some yellowing from age in back.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Condition Notes

If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially if it is release or pressing details, or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Something/Anything?
Bearsville, 1972. Very Good 2LP Gatefold
Arguably one of the greatest pop albums of all time – a pure act of genius from Todd Rundgren, and one of the few cases in rock music where two records are actually better than one! Eddie Harris

Bossa Nova
Vee Jay, 1963. Very Good
Very nice, very tight little bossa nova set by Eddie Harris from his early days at Vee Jay! The groove is very open, and Eddie's still at the stage where he can really cut the stuff. His solos ring out hard and cold above some great Lalo Schifrin arrangements, and Lalo also plays piano on the ... LP, Vinyl record album

Perfect Angel
Epic, 1974. Very Good
