Love Is Blue – Golden Trumpet Deluxe

LP (Item 168914) London (Japan), 1968 — Condition: Very Good
Gatefold
(Cover has minimal wear and aging.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Stanley Black

Black Magic
Phase 4/London, 1976. Near Mint-
Amazing work from Stanley Black – honest! The album's far funkier and far more dynamic than most of Stanley's other albums in the past – and is a sweet electric 70s session with plenty of elements you'd expect to find in some of the Brit Easy or sound library albums of the time! Fantastic! This is Yma Sumac's rock album from the early 70's – and it's got a wild sound that's totally different from any of her work at Capitol! The record includes lots of electric instrumentation, and Yma's voice moves from the exotic to the psychedelic, as she sings along with some ... LP, Vinyl record album

Korla Pandit

Love Letters
Fantasy, 1961. Very Good+
Given that Korla first made his biggest impact wooing lonely housewives on LA TV, it's no surprise that the cover of this one features a wistful lass, writing a letter, and looking into space, while an image of Korla floats above her head! Korla's organ is at its dreamiest here – and tracks ... LP, Vinyl record album
