May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean,
and not too dirty.
May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play,
but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep.
Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well,
with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song,
but never throughout a whole song or more.
This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times,
but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
2 rare sides by Jo Ann Garrett – recorded after her album on Chess, with production by Andre Williams! "One Woman" is a sweet, sad ballad – pretty nice, but the real treat here is "Now Girl"! That tune's got a snapping little groove – just a touch of funk ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
Two of the greatest songs ever from the Incredible Bongo Band – brought together here in a special limited edition picture sleeve! "Bongo Rock" is a killer – a tune with a massive break that's been sampled countless times, and which has this amazing percussion part in the ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
A great little cut that really lives up to its title – a jazzy mambo taken at a nice fast tempo – complete with some excellent percussion, fast-scatting vocals, and this great flute line that comes along in the middle and makes the whole thing really sparkle! The flipside is great too ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
Excellent stuff! We're not sure if this one ever made it to an LP, but it's a fantastic bit of soul by the great Sam Dees, recorded with Bettye Swann as a duet, and with arrangements by Tom Tom 84. Both sides are great, and have the heavenly 70's soul sound that made Sam's one and only Atlantic ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
