Still here

LP (Item 158973) Atlantic, 1978 — Condition: Sealed
...

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Self Control
Atlantic, 1984. Sealed
Laura Branigan gets some help here on arrangements from Harold Faltermeyer – who makes things a bit funkier than you might expect – although still very much in the kind of poppy style he used famously on some big 80s soundtracks! The mode works well for Laura – whose approach is ... LP, Vinyl record album

78 in the shade, and 78 on the calendar too – 1978, a year when the reborn Small Faces were still sounding plenty darn great! The album follows nicely from the previous Playmates – with the strong rootsy undercurrents as that one, way more than in the group's earlier music – ... LP, Vinyl record album

The MC5 move to Atlantic Records after their first album – and find a whole new sort of focus that's pretty great! Velvet Underground

White Light/White Heat
Verve, 1968. Near Mint-
One of the most far-out, freaked-out albums ever from the Velvet Underground – easily the most experimental set the group ever recorded! A great debut from Bow Wow Wow, and a mighty second act from Maclolm McLaren – whose work with the young group was one of his main projects after getting rejected by the Sex Pistols!
