An album that makes us think that after marrying Kenny Gamble, Dee Dee Sharp seemed to inherit his smooth Philly soul style as part of the family – as her records for Philly International are head and shoulders above her earlier work as a girl singer in the 60s! The record has a cool sophisticated groove that's totally great – a bit of club here, a bit of mellower soul there – a wonderful balance that makes Dee Dee into a much fuller artist than she was back in the 60s. The set's got loads of great cuts, including "Easy Money", "I Love You Anyway", "If We're Gonna Stay Together", and "Everyday Affair".
