This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
Compelling work by one of those singers we always think we shouldn't like as much as we do – but we do (if that makes any sense at all!) The album's got a somber, serious approach – but done in an evocative post-Milton Nascimento style that's got a soulful undercurrent that moves past ... CD
A riveting batch of Sao Paulo avant noise and funky punk – from the No Wave early 80s and on through the decade – one of the most instantly exciting compilations on Soul Jazz in years! There's a richness to this previously somewhat buried scene that's not surprising, given all of the ... CD
A beautifully introspective album from Leila Pinheiro – personal, spare, and fragile – and done with a mature sound that's quite different than some of her other work. The easy bossa references are very much on the backburner, and instead there's a sophisticated singer-songwriter feel ... CD
A nice range of work – material from Jobim's early album on Verve in the 60s, his Elis Regina collaboration in the 70s, and some later tracks for the Passarim album in the 80s! CD
A great later album by Jobim – one that has him working with "the new band", which includes younger talents like Danilo Caymmi on flute and vocals, Sebastiao Neto on bass, Jacques Morelen baum on cello, and Paulo Jobim on guitar and vocals. Jobim's voice is wonderfully aged and ... CD
One of the most mindblowing albums ever recorded – anywhere, anytime! This 1969 set stands as one of the greatest records ever cut by Gal Costa – done at the height of the Tropicalia movement, and featuring a sublime mix of styles that really gets the spirit of the movement right. ... CD

A great 90s album by Caetano Veloso – a beautiful re-awakening of his genius in the later years of his career! The sound here is as fresh, creative, and personal as on some of Veloso's best post-Tropicalia albums of the 70s – served up in a blend of spare percussion, edgey guitars, and ... CD
