Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Dexter Gordon blows back home in the US, but still with the long, open solo style of his European work for Steeplechase! The group features Barry Harris on piano, Sam Jones on bass, and Al Foster on drums – a great rhythm section – and titles include "Apple Jump", "A La ... CD
One of our favorite Dexter Gordon sessions for Blue Note – and a unique album that's one of the first to illustrate his growing role in the European jazz scene! The group's a quartet – which let's Dex stand out front with plenty of space for marvelous tenor work – and it features ... CD
A seminal set of work from the Blue Note scene of the 60s – a record that's not just noteworthy for its role in helping return tenorist Dexter Gordon to the spotlight, but also for the fantastic work of pianist Sonny Clark in the quartet! Sonny's in wonderful form throughout – and ... CD
Beautiful Columbia work from Thelonious Monk – a record that has as much warmth and charm as it does visionary modernist moments! A number of the tunes are standards, not Monk compositions – and they're done here with a sense of depth and joy of exploration that's really wonderful ... CD
Some of Miles noisiest, freest playing from the 70s – recorded live at Carnegie Hall in 1974, and originally issued only in Japan – most likely because the album was so darn noisy, Columbia was scared to release it to the American market! As with other Davis gems from this time, the ... CD
Lots of small combo work with Herbie on piano, Dex on tenor, Pierre Michelot or Ron Carter on bass, and Tony Williams or Billy Higgins on drums. Titles include "Still Time", "Minuit Aux Champs Elysees", "Chan's Song", "Fair Weather", "The Peacocks" ... CD
