Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
One of the few full albums ever recorded by Francis Hime – a brilliant Brazilian composer/arranger whose work was instrumental to 70s MPB! Hime's talents place him somewhere between the baroque brilliance of Marcos Valle and the ambitiously soaring early work of Milton Nascimento – a ... CD
Less of a "best of" than some of the other titles in this series – but some fantastic rare work by this excellent tenor sax player! This 20 track set features 12 numbers from a fantastic album that Pixinguinha cut in 1968 with Clementina De Jesus and Joao Da Bahiana, a great little ... CD
One of our favorite Brazilian singers ever! Lo Borges is perhaps best known to the world for his incredible vocals on Milton Nascimento's classic Clube Da Esquina album – but he made a heck of a lot of great recordings on his own, many of which are compiled here on this long-overdue best-of ... CD
Playful samba from the legendary Moreira Da Silva – somewhat playful at times, but always heartfelt and soulful – and served up with some lively arrangements throughout! Lyrio Panicali provided the backings here – and they're a nice blend of fuller, jazz-inflected orchestrations ... CD
Moody set of jazz interpretations of songs by Delores Duran, performed by Nana in her deep rich voice, with backing by a small group of players that includes Helio Delmiro, Cristovao Bastos, and Dori Caymmi. Titles include "O Que E Que Eu Faco", "Olhe O Tempo Passando", "Po ... CD

We'd almost want to hate this one for its "Buena Vista" ripoff on the title – but we can't, because the music's so great! The album's the third album from Os Ipanemas in 40 years – and it's steeped in the rich traditions of jazz and Brazilian music shared by all of its ... CD
Caetano Veloso at the end of the 70s – still sounding wonderful, but in ways that are quite different from his earliest albums! The sound here is more restrained, and more mature – a beautiful example of the songwriting strength that Veloso evolved as his career moved on – tunes ... CD
