This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Gilberto Gil live at Montreux – playing in this spare, stripped-down style that's quite a change from some of his more fully produced albums of the period – a mode that's very much like some of Gilberto's best albums from the start of the 70s! There's a lot of acoustic guitar in the ... CD

An extremely poetic little set from Caetano Veloso – very personal, and with some nice play with language on some of the album's best tracks – almost recalling his best intimate moments of the 70s! A few tracks are a bit more upbeat – with keyboards and a bit more electricity ... CD

A double CD set – recorded live, featuring material from Caetano's tour for the Noites Do Norte album. Like that album, this set features many rootsy numbers – Caetano's always great vocals mixing with guitar and percussion, evoking the spirit of the north, and touching on a few other ... CD
An excellent live set from 1974! Gilberto is playing in a fairly stripped down form, and the recording focuses mostly on his soulful singing and choppy acoustic guitar – although there is a larger group on a few tracks that plays electric guitar and keyboards, but never in a way that ... CD
Compelling work by one of those singers we always think we shouldn't like as much as we do – but we do (if that makes any sense at all!) The album's got a somber, serious approach – but done in an evocative post-Milton Nascimento style that's got a soulful undercurrent that moves past ... CD
A wonderful overview of Gilberto Gil's classic work for Philips from the late 60s and early 70s – incredible recordings that begin in his Tropicalia years, and which also include some key tracks from his return to Brazil after exile in England! The sound here is rougher, rawer, and rootsier ... CD
