Dramatic duets between Stan Tracey and Louis Moholo – a rare meeting of two different talents from the UK scene, coming together here with surprisingly wonderful results! Although Tracey and Moholo have both topped our list as some of the key players to have kept jazz interesting in the UK over the years, we wouldn't have expected them to work so well together in such a setting – freely exploring the range of each others talents in a relatively improvised environment. Moholo's drum work has a sense of majesty that recalls some of his genius on earlier free sessions – and Tracey's style really matches the mood nicely, and keeps itself held inside ever so slightly – sometimes providing more of a rhythmic pulse than the percussion of Moholo. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
