This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
A trippier version of Khruangbin than we're used to – but that's maybe no surprise, given that the whole album's a dub version of the Con Todo El Mundo record – with all the best funky currents of that sweet set, and some wilder modes as well! Drums and bass really get a great workout ... CD
Plenty of grease here – given that The Sound Stylistics are one of the most cooking combos around! The set's a fresh smoker from this damn funky power trio – who get some great extra help here from Snowboy, Shawn Lee, Eddie Roberts, and others – a hip expanded lineup who really ... CD
The spacey work of Swiss trumpeter Erik Truffaz gets the remix treatment, in a great set of chillout grooves! Truffaz has a great sound – kind of a blend of late 60s Miles Davis, and mid 70s Eddie Henderson – and his first few albums for Blue Note France have been some of our favorite ... CD
A real moment of breakthrough from Will "Quantic" Holland – a set that really expands his sound, deepens his ties to funk roots, and makes the whole thing feel a lot more live than some of his previous work! Will's at the helm and handles most instruments – but there's also ... CD
Even more soulful stuff than before from The Baker Brothers – a record that really has them getting past the gritty funk of earlier records, and hitting a fuller groove that's totally great! The sound here is expanded past the guitar-heavy sounds that we first came to love from the Bakers ... CD
The fourth album from Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings – solidifying what we learned pretty early on from the indomitable soul spirit that is Sharon and her impeccable combo the Dap-Kings – it's that this is not some retro soul revival novelty act, what they are is the greatest active ... CD
The seventh album from prolific modern funky soul gurus The Baker Brothers – a tight, thunderous mix of vocals and instrumentals that range from rawly raucous numbers to sly little groovers! The group really is a well oiled engine at this point – after a good decade or so of activity. ... CD
It's been a few years since we last heard from Big Boss Man – but it's been well worth the wait, as these guys know how to cook up a mod groove better than just about anyone else! Winner's got a sound that takes us back to the swinginest days of London in the 60s – Hammond wailing over ... CD
The stunning debut of Kylie Auldist – working here with some great help from The Bamboos! Kylie's sung with the group in the past, and the album's produced by Bamboos mainmain Lance Ferguson – who also plays on the record too – but the style is much more complicated than that ... CD
The best album to date from funky drummer Tito Lopez – aka Harbans Srih, one of the best players on the UK deep funk scene! The album's got a laidback, tripped-out, slow funk style that's really great – very much in a blacksploitation soundtrack mode, with heavy Harbans drums on the ... CD
