(Promo. Includes the insert. Cover has a promo stamp, some ring and edge wear, bent corners, and light aging.)
Near Mint - (minus)
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Beth Carvalho's entertaining an intimate outdoor group on the cover – and the album really has that same sort of up-close sort of samba vibe! Titles include "E Pois E", "Danca Da Solidao", "Virada", "Grande Erro", "Alpendre Da Saudade", " ... LP, Vinyl record album
One of the more sophisticated albums recorded by Brazilian singer Maria Crueza – with a sound that moves way past her earlier bossa recordings, working in a mode that's similar to some of the more elaborate MPB recordings of the late 70s. Arrangements are by Ivan Paulo, Geraldo Vespar, and ... LP, Vinyl record album
Beth Carvalho was one of the leading lights of the new samba generation of the 70s – and this great little album is a good illustration of the lady at her best! Beth can hit a lively groove with the best of them, but also bring a bit more expression to her voice as well – sometimes ... LP, Vinyl record album
70s electric bossa grooves from the great bossa nova drummer Milton Banana! Milton's trio here has a bit of a fusiony sound, and they're augmented occasionally by some backing vocals, for a nice sweet soulful sound. Most of the tracks are medleys of older bossa tunes, played together in a tight ... LP, Vinyl record album
An excellent 2LP collection – featuring loads of Milton's best work, recorded during the early 70s for the Odeon label, most of which is darn hard to find on vinyl! Includes a version of "Cravo E Canela" done with Lo Borges, plus the tunes "Nada Sera Como Antes", "Sen ... LP, Vinyl record album
