Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Incredibly beautiful work from this trio of female Brazilian singers – a group who recorded in France in the 90s, but who have a quality that goes right back to some of the best harmonies of the bossa nova generation! Most of the tracks are straight acapella, and feature haunting vocal ... CD
2 of the best-ever albums by the Tamba Trio – out now on one CD! The records are a fantastic mix of vocal harmonies and bossa piano grooves, with a sound that's unlike anything else you've ever heard – unless you've heard some of the Tamba Trio's other excellent records! Luiz Eca ... CD
A brilliant early moment for the young Gilberto Gil – a set recorded right before his jump into the Tropicalia movement, but with a sound that's already pretty darn unique! The style here has Gilberto singing upfront and playing acoustic guitar – in a mode that's certainly rooted in ... CD
Excellent work by Jobim – spanning the mid 60s late bossa years, into the early 70s baroque ones, when his mad compositional genius was really opening up! The set's a great way to get some of these cuts on vinyl – as they're not actually as easy to track down as we'd like. Roberto ... CD
What a dream! The work of Chico Buarque is arranged by Edu Lobo – and the sound is fantastic! We've always loved Chico's songwriting from this period – but it's made even better by Edu, who's working here in a sharp jazzy mode, similar to that which he used on his Missa Breve album ... CD
The best of Brazil, old and new – as Joao Gilberto meets up with a younger generation of Brazilian vocalists – Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, and Maria Bethania – all for a wonderful session of stripped-down bossa! The work is very much in Joao's best style of the early 70s – ... CD
Beautifully mature work from Chico Buarque – a set put together with the sort of sensitive songwriting that's always made him one of the leading figures in Brazilian music! There's some great echoes here of the style that Buarque first brought to play in the late 60s – that ... CD
Incredible! This album from 1977 shows Elis moving into an incredibly sophisticated vein – filled with influences from writers like Ivan Lins and Milton Nascimento, both of whom make an appearance on here, and backed by some incredible arrangements by Cesar Mariano and his CIA group. The ... CD

A lovely blend of fusion and Brazilian roots – and one of Toninho Horta's standout sets from his US years at Verve! The album's got a warm, organic feel that's quite different from other American fusion of the time – still filled with some of the influences that drove that music in the ... CD
