Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs. This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.

When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.

All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Ennio Morricone

Exorcist II – The Heretic
Warner (France), 1977. Used
The actual film was weaker than the first Exorcist movie, but the soundtrack's a great one – a wonderful Ennio Morricone score, right up there with his better-known classics of the 70s! Some tracks have a full, sweeping style that's sublime – that compressed Morricone approach to ... CD

Twin Peaks – Season Two Music & More
Absurda, 1991. Used
Great music from the second season of Twin Peaks – and a continuing illustration of the power of Angelo Badalamenti's music for the show! The strength of these simple themes and tunes is clear right from the get-go – as Angelo serves things up in a mode that's subtle, but still filled ... CD

Piero Piccioni

Il Demonio
Beat (Italy), 1964. Used
Definite demonic sounds from Piero Piccioni – one of the darkest soundtracks we've ever heard from the legendary Italian film composer – and a real standout from the rest of his work of the 60s! There's some very oddly-tuned instrumentation on the set – weird organ that's not ... CD

A sublime set of slinky, sexy tunes from the mighty Nico Fidenco – scored to support a very sexy remake of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night! The tunes are in the same mode as Fidenco's famous late 70s erotica soundtracks – but sometimes a bit more playful too – shorter, with lots of ... CD

Nico Fidenco

Sesso Nero

A sweetly sexy set from the great Nico Fidenco – easily one of the most reliable sources for porno sounds in the 70s! The album's got a slinky feel that really matches its cover image, and the film's tale of sex in an exotic locale – backed with music from Fidenco that's heavy on ... CD

Elmer Bernstein

Hallelujah Trail
United Artists, Mid 60s. Used
Mostly western-themed numbers played by an orchestra and occasionally sung by a chorus that matches the comedic feel of the film. The whole thing's got a whimsical feel, maybe a little silly, but still fun, especially if you're a fan of Bernstein's work. Titles include "Stand Up We'll March ... CD
