A record that's more than just a set from soulful tenorist Red Holloway – as the whole thing's really an outing from Hammond hero Jack McDuff, done during his mid 60s hot streak for Prestige Records – and at a time when the label was letting some of Jack's sidemen step into the spotlight! The group here is really the usual McDuff combo – with the great Joe Dukes on drums and a young George Benson on guitar – but there's also a few key shifts, too – in that Jack plays a bit of piano on the record, and the group also features a bassist, with Wilfred Middlebrooks handling the acoustic, instead of Jack adding basslines on the pedals.
