Yusef Lateef explores a number of different world music rhythms on a mix of woodwind instruments that includes tenor, basoon, flute, oboe, and shanas. He's joined here by the great Richard Williams on trumpet, whose playing with Lateef is always excellent. The rest of the group's made up of some of Lateef's best early rhythm players, including Hugh Lawson, Ernie Barrows, and Lex Humphries.
